There are three reasons as to why you may not be getting the full compensation amount:
- You have hit the mileage target in the app’s GPS but your odometer reading did not reach the mileage target.
- You have hit the odometer reading’s mileage target, but you did not hit the mileage target in the app’s GPS.
- You did not hit the mileage target for both GPS and odometer reading.
Ideally, both your GPS and your odometer reading should hit the mileage target to ensure your compensation is paid in full. However, when the above scenario happens, we will check the difference between your GPS and your odometer reading.
- Should the difference between your GPS and your odometer reading is between 0% to 15%, we will select the one with the higher number of kilometres.
- Should the difference between your GPS and your odometer reading is between 15% to 30%, then we will get the average number of kilometres between the two.
- Should the difference between your GPS and your odometer reading is more than 30%, we will select the one with the lower number of kilometres.
So always remember to turn on your GPS whenever you are driving, and keep an eye on your odometer reading.
